<strong>Job Role:</strong> Account Manager/Surveyor<br /> <strong>Contract:</strong> Full Time<br /><br /> <strong>What&rsquo;s on Offer:</strong><br /> An exciting opportunity to join a national company that represents a forward-thinking and growing industry.<br /><br /> As the Account Manager/Surveyor, you will act as the "Company Ambassador," working closely with others to foster and enhance client relationships, drive sales, and identify new business opportunities.<br /><br /> <strong>The Ideal Candidate:</strong><br /> We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and energetic individual who is self-motivated to succeed both personally and as part of a dynamic Account Management team.<br /><br /> Successful integration within a tightly-knit team is key, and those with a sense of humor paired with a resilient personality often excel in this role.<br /><br /> Applicants should be within easy commuting distance to our Ongar office. A full driving license is essential.<br /><br /> At least 2 years of experience in the drainage/plumbing industry is required. Specific skills and experience should be brought to the role to meet the following responsibilities:<br /><br /> <strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients</li><li>Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers</li><li>Handle multiple clients simultaneously, often under tight deadlines</li><li>Conduct site surveys and meetings with clients</li><li>Prepare and submit quotations and reports</li><li>Identify opportunities for growth with existing clients</li><li>Explore and pursue new business opportunities and sales</li><li>Communicate client needs and expectations within the company</li><li>Manage client projects, ensuring alignment with both client and company goals</li><li>Work closely with the sales team to approach potential clients</li><li>Collaborate with the operations team to manage planned work from initiation to completion</li><li>Participate in a telephone rota to provide technical advice to in-house engineers, currently every six weeks</li></ul><strong>Core Requirements and Skills:</strong><ul><li>Proven background in drainage, plumbing, construction, or a similar field. A passion for buildings or mechanical systems is advantageous</li><li>General educational qualifications with proficiency in IT for composing professional emails and reports. Familiarity with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is helpful</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently</li><li>A full driving license is mandatory due to site visits</li><li>Excellent communication skills and telephone manner</li><li>Professional appearance and punctuality are essential</li></ul><strong>Reporting to:</strong><br /> Operations Director<br /><br /> <strong>Location:</strong><br /> Essex, CM5<br /><br /> <strong>Salary:</strong><br /><br /><ul><li>&pound;40,000 basic</li><li>OTE &pound;70,000+</li><li>Commission on sales</li><li>Small company van with surveying equipment provided</li></ul><br /> <br />
