Sonic Summary

A well-respected electrical compliance and testing company, established for over 40 years, is seeking Portable Appliance Testers (PAT) to cover large commercial sites in and around London.
The role involves testing portable appliances, visiting 1 or 2 sites per day, and requires candidates to have experience in portable appliance testing and a C&G 2377 PAT course certification.
The position offers a basic salary of £23,886 with a realistic OTE of £37-38k, along with a bonus scheme based on the number of items tested, travel pay, and additional benefits.
Candidates must reside in or around London, possess a full UK driving licence, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to pass a DBS check.
The company provides a van, phone, fuel card, electrical testing equipment, 23 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, yearly KPI bonuses, and opportunities for overtime.

They pride themselves on their engineers’ skills as well as always being one step ahead of the ever changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.

They are recruiting for Portable Appliance Testers (PAT), you will be:-

Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites
Going to 1 or 2 sites per day
Covering in and around London

Salary and Benefits for a PAT Tester:-

£23,886 basic salary - realistic OTE of 37-38k
Bonus scheme for the amount of items tested per day-20p, 30p or 40p per test after daily targets are hit

Skills / experience needed to be a PAT Tester:-

Living anywhere in or around the London area
C&G 2377 PAT course needed
Experience doing portable appliance testing
Full UK driving licence
Great customer services skills for when you are on site
Be able to pass a DBS check
