Sonic Summary

A well-respected electrical compliance and testing company with over 40 years of experience is seeking Portable Appliance Testers (PAT) to join their team in and around London.
The role involves testing portable appliances on large commercial sites, typically visiting 1 or 2 sites per day.
The basic salary for this position is £23,886, with a realistic on-target earnings (OTE) of £37,000 to £38,000, including a bonus scheme based on the number of items tested.
Candidates must have completed the C&G 2377 PAT course, possess experience in portable appliance testing, and hold a full UK driving license.
Additional benefits include travel pay, a company ownership share scheme, a van, phone, fuel card, overtime opportunities, 23 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, and yearly KPI bonuses.

They pride themselves on their engineers’ skills as well as always being one step ahead of the ever changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.

They are recruiting for Portable Appliance Testers (PAT), you will be:-

Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites
Going to 1 or 2 sites per day
Covering in and around London

Salary and Benefits for a PAT Tester:-

£23,886 basic salary - realistic OTE of 37-38k
Bonus scheme for the amount of items tested per day-20p, 30p or 40p per test after daily targets are hit

Van, phone, fuel card, electrical testing equipment
Overtime weekend rota
23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
Yearly KPI bonuses
Plenty of additional overtime if required

Skills / experience needed to be a PAT Tester:-

Living anywhere in or around the London area
C&G 2377 PAT course needed
Experience doing portable appliance testing
Full UK driving licence
Great customer services skills for when you are on site
Be able to pass a DBS check
