Speech and Language Therapist - Adults

If you are a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible Band 6 or 7 Speech and Language Therapist to provide management to Adult patients under the supervision of the Lead Speech and Language Therapist within the community, we want to hear from you!

Clinical caseload: Parkinson's disease, dementia, progressive neurological conditions, stroke rehabilitation etc. Settings: virtual, clinics, domiciliary, care homes and community wards.

Required for 22.5 hours each week between Mon-Fri 9-5

Salary: 33/h (Day shifts)

What you'll need as a Speech Language Therapist - Adults:

  • Specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications, including further theoretical training and experience to Master's level equivalent in required speciality
  • Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise.
  • Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC)
  • HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
  • 6 months of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
  • Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
  • The right to work in the UK
