Trainee Finance Assistant

About The Job:

  • As a Trainee Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Reconciliation of Treasury Bank Accounts
  • Processing Deal Confirmations
  • Daily Payments
  • Treasury Month-end Reporting
  • ABS Monthly Reporting to Banks and/or Investors
  • ABS Regulatory Reporting
  • Assisting with Audit Requirements (both internal and external)
  • Maintenance and Development of Procedures
  • Dispute resolution
  • Any other duties as requested by Line Management
  • Encouraged to develop into an expert on certain aspects of the role

Key Experience & Skills:

  • Evidence of strong academics up to A level, as a minimum
  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of working in a busy, high volume corporate treasury or bank back-office function
  • A basic understanding of Finance & Economics
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work in a team and build strong relationships with all levels of staff and external suppliers
  • Ability to produce work to a high quality while ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Time management - must be able to work effectively under pressure by prioritising work effectively, without compromising on quality
