- Coordinate tenancy applications, including referencing, right-to-rent checks, and preparing tenancy agreements. Ensure all tenancy documentation is accurate and compliant with legal standards.
- Support the move-in and move-out process, preparing inventory documents and check-in/check-out procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the lettings team, handling correspondence, maintaining databases, and filing.
- Manage phone and email inquiries from landlords, tenants, and contractors.
- Property Compliance: Ensure all properties are up-to-date with necessary safety certificates, such as gas and electrical safety.
- Liaise with landlords and tenants to schedule necessary inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Previous experience in property administration or a similar administrative role, ideally within the lettings sector. Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage workload.
- Familiarity with lettings regulations and property compliance (advantageous).
- Proficiency in MS Office and property management software.
