The successful candidate will work closely with and report to the Partners and will supervise Legal Cashiers and Office Juniors.THE CANDIDATEThe firm is looking for someone to join the finance team to oversee and manage the day-to-day cashiering, book-keeping and accounting across its two offices, and to oversee more junior members of the team. The ideal candidate will:have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role,have detailed up to date knowledge and understanding of SRA’s Accounts rules,be AAT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or part qualified and/or working towards ILFMqualification,have the ability to work to deadlines, andbe conscientious and pay attention to detail.THE ROLEYour responsibilities will include:preparing the annual budget,preparing monthly management accounts,cashflow forecasting including preparing reports for fee earners to chase outstanding debts,acting as first point of contact for the firm’s auditors including preparing year end schedules,maintaining the firm’s chart of accounts,VAT returnsmonthly payroll,daily bank account reconciliations for both client and office accounts including monthly bank reconciliation reports, andproviding and delivering consequential information for financial and other providers.Contact Kate Stubbs at eNL on or email with your CV, for more details or simply call for a confidential discussion.eNL will never share your CV with a third party without your express permission.
