Reed HR have partnered with an organisation in Surrey who are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager.
The role:
- Hours: 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday (full time permanent role)
- Working from home available when possible
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and regular inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and legislation.
- Deliver training and workshops to employees on health and safety protocols.
- Investigate incidents, identifying root causes and recommending improvements.
- Collaborate with management to integrate health and safety practices into daily operations.
- Keep up to date with new legislation and industry trends to continuously improve our safety standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of UK health and safety regulations.
- NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive approach with a passion for promoting a safe work environment.
