Reed HR have partnered with an organisation in Surrey who are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager.

The role:

  • Hours: 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday (full time permanent role)
  • Working from home available when possible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and regular inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and legislation.
  • Deliver training and workshops to employees on health and safety protocols.
  • Investigate incidents, identifying root causes and recommending improvements.
  • Collaborate with management to integrate health and safety practices into daily operations.
  • Keep up to date with new legislation and industry trends to continuously improve our safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK health and safety regulations.
  • NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive approach with a passion for promoting a safe work environment.
