The Role:

As a Senior Data Services Team Lead, you'll oversee a team of skilled data engineers, manage the company's Data Warehouse, and deliver high-quality data solutions. You'll drive innovation, ensure compliance with corporate standards, and play a pivotal role in influencing data strategy across the business.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading and managing a team of data engineers.
  • Delivering data warehousing solutions and managing the ETL process.
  • Prioritising workload and projects while ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Advanced SQL development, data analysis beyond SQL, and working with APIs and SFTP.
  • Utilising Informatica for ETL processes and driving process improvements.
  • Supporting Power BI dashboards and automating data testing processes.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Advanced SQL skills (essential).
  • Expertise in ETL processes and Informatica (essential).
  • Experience in data analysis outside of SQL.
  • Advanced skills in Power BI and Excel (essential).
  • Proven track record of managing data projects and stakeholder relationships.
  • Knowledge of SFTP and APIs (desirable).
  • A growth mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritise and adapt to evolving business needs.
