Digital Officer

My client are seeking a Digital Officer to lead on paid media delivery, development, and evaluation. This role involves managing key day-to-day relationships with PR agencies, government contacts, and expert industry support.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead the paid media element of our campaigns, including planning, delivery, and continual evaluation, to ensure KPIs are met and proactively suggest improvements.
  • Develop and implement communication plans and campaigns to achieve strategic and tactical goals with the optimal and integrated deployment of organic and paid digital and social media.
  • Provide digital support to Project Intercept, including the creation of landing pages and tracking links, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Carry out day-to-day maintenance of the chatbot, working with internal teams to implement fixes, troubleshoot, and ensure its smooth operation.
  • Help develop the organisation’s understanding and use of AI technologies and support teams with innovative digital tools and processes.
  • Deliver and continually refine the digital component of the broader communications strategy

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least three years’ relevant experience in social media and digital marketing.
  • Experience of managing key day-to-day relationships with internal colleagues and external organisations.
  • Experience of leading on paid media including strategy, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting.
  • Experience of managing paid search including Google and Bing ads to build audiences based on a variety of goals.
  • Experience of managing paid social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Snapchat.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to apply these to different audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team, in a supportive, flexible, and friendly manner.
