Accounts Semi Senior with Payroll, based Epsom, Surrey

This Surrey based firm of Accountants currently seek an Accounts Semi Senior / Assistant Accountant that has some experience of working with client payroll.Â
Applications are welcome from candidates with experience of working for an accounting practice. You may be an AAT, ACCA or ACA studier and full study support / training will be given. Alternatively, you may be a non studier who simply enjoys the variety of duties and challenges that working for an accounting firm brings.Â
The main responsibilities are as follows:Â
- Reporting directly to the senior management team
- Working closely with a wide range of clients, including SME's, LLP's and sole traders
- Preparing year end accounts for review by the Partners
- All aspects of Bookkeeping, including VAT and CIS Returns
- Producing management accounts and ad hoc financial reports
- Assisting with running client payrolls and pension submissions
- Calculation of Corporation Tax Returns
- There may also be opportunity to assist with audit assignments on occasion.Â
