We are a well-established care agency operating in Surrey seeking a motivated and compassionate Care Supervisor to oversee our Domiciliary Care service. Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the care staff within Opal Carers Ltd.
- Provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policies and procedures, agreed quality standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager.
- Supervise the care services within Opal Carers Ltd in accordance with agreed standards.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Qualifications in Health and Social Care or a related field (NVQ Level 3 or higher).
- Previous experience in providing care and support to individuals with physical disabilities, mental health challenges, autism and learning disabilities.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A strong commitment to upholding health and safety standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, service users, and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
- Driver’s licence and access to business-insured vehicle for work travel.
- Experience in a similar managerial or supervisory role in a care setting.
Desirable:
- Additional qualifications in Health and Social Care or Management.
