We are a well-established care agency operating in Surrey seeking a motivated and compassionate Care Supervisor to oversee our Domiciliary Care service. We are committed to providing a safe and enabling environment for individuals in our care, ensuring that they are treated with respect and their individual needs are met. We are looking for a candidate with drive and passion who is willing to take on the challenge.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to the care staff within Opal Carers Ltd.
  • Provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policies and procedures, agreed quality standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager.
  • Supervise the care services within Opal Carers Ltd in accordance with agreed standards.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Qualifications in Health and Social Care or a related field (NVQ Level 3 or higher).
  • Previous experience in providing care and support to individuals with physical disabilities, mental health challenges, autism and learning disabilities.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • A strong commitment to upholding health and safety standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, service users, and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
  • Driver’s licence and access to business-insured vehicle for work travel.
  • Experience in a similar managerial or supervisory role in a care setting.

Desirable:

  • Additional qualifications in Health and Social Care or Management.
