My client are a leading freight forwarder they are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team with a minimum 1 years experience.
Daily duties include:
- Credit control
- Sending monthly accounts statements
- Ensure timely monthly billing
- Liaising with clients to follow up on outstanding payments and resolving payment queries
- Collaborate with management and operational teams regarding overdue payments and account holds
- Ensure timely debt payment and escalate overdue accounts when required
- General admin
Experience needed:
- Minimum 1 years experience in an accounts or finance role
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft applications including Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Quick learner
- Experience using Xero would be desirable
Working hours:
- Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
