An exciting opportunity has arisen for Client Advisors to join a Bexleyheath based Local Authority team, working on the Restart programme. This role involves supporting adult job seekers who are preparing to move into employment by identifying and addressing barriers through exemplary case management, support, advice, advocacy, and signposting to relevant services.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide information, advice, and guidance to job seekers, developing and maintaining an action plan tailored to each individual.
  • Collaborate with job seekers to agree on a range of activities that enable and inspire them to achieve sustained employment and non-employment progression measures, such as improving wellbeing, self-confidence, and independence.
  • Work in partnership with a wide variety of local agencies and colleagues within the team to deliver the best support to individuals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in providing case management, support, and advice to individuals preparing for employment.
  • Ability to develop and maintain action plans and inspire individuals towards achieving their employment goals.
  • Strong understanding of the barriers faced by job seekers and how to address them.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of agencies and team members.
  • Advocacy skills and the ability to signpost effectively to relevant services.
