So, if you’re interested in this role, read on and apply today!The RoleAs an LGV Class 2 Driver, you will support our Howden’s Joinery contract, working from our Erith site.Specifically, you will undertake around 8-10 deliveries per day to Howden’s depots across Essex, Kent and the Home Counties.You will also work to a pre-routed schedule, ensuring timely drops at the depots where your palletised loads will be loaded and unloaded by forklift.Additionally, you will:- Perform vehicle inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards- Manage all documentation for each delivery accurately- Communicate effectively with clients and depots as needed- Occasionally perform light manual handling as requiredAbout YouTo be considered as an LGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:- A full, valid Class 2 driving licence with at least 2 years of commercial driving experience- A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR, or DG codes)- A valid Driver CPC Card- A valid Digital Tachograph cardThe closing date for this role is 4th December 2024.Other organisations may call this role HGV Driver, Delivery Driver, or LGV Driver.Webrecruit and Yusen Logistics are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
