Sonic Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Manager or Operations Manager with extensive road freight experience for a well-established road freight company.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of senior-level experience in freight and logistics, along with project management and customs knowledge.
The role involves developing new and existing business, managing key accounts, and creating relationships with UK and Irish customers.
Responsibilities include handling import/export requirements, providing quotations, and ensuring all shipment deadlines are met.
The position offers a salary of £70,000 per year, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

We are recruiting for a well established road freight company who are seeking an experienced General Manager / Operations Manager level person who has a wealth of road freight experience.

Previous experience in senior level within freight / and logistics is essential, knowledge of managing projects also required and customs experience also is a must.

Be proactive in developing new and existing business and commercially away.
Strong knowledge of UK / Irish road freight - imports and exports
Create and deveop relationships with UK / Irish customers
Handling key accounts
Contacting importers/exporters to establish their clearance/delivery requirements.
Providing customers with quotations and following up on enquiries
Making sure all requirements and deadlines for each shipment are met
Invoicing on a daily basis

Hours are Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.30pm
