Join this fast-growing IFA practice as a financial planner based in their office in Surrey. You will manage a portion of their current client base. The practice offers full administrative and paraplanning support.

General Duties:

Establish and build strong relationships with clients.
Review qualitative and quantitative analysis of clients existing products to determine whether they meet the clients current objectives and priorities.
Understand the clients views and objectives.
Identify any other needs the client may have i.e. legal advice.
Preparing Financial Plans and Product Recommendations to meet the clients objectives.
Maintaining records to support any research undertaken and carrying out all tasks in a manner that is consistent with compliance procedures.

Specific Duties:

Prospect/contact potential clients in accordance with the firms business plan / Supervisors guidance.

Ensure sufficient client information obtained and analyse information gathered.
Undertake sufficient research to identify suitable solutions to meet the clients needs and objectives.
Ensure suitable recommendations are made in line with the clients objectives.
Ensure all supporting documentation is maintained to a compliant standard.
Ensure implementation of advice completed in a timely fashion and in line with any agreed timescales discussed with the client.
Attain and maintain level of competence as required by the firm.
Maintain all standards of performance as required by the firm.
Ensure a current, in date Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) is held at all times.
