Location: Essex

Package: £120,000 - £150,000 + Shares in the business

Projects: Social Housing - Refurbs

Skilled Careers are working with a Sub Contractor who due to an incredible amount of work winning they are looking for a Commercial Manager to join the team and make their mark.

The Commercial Manager will be working with their clients in and around Essex to make sure the business keeps up with all of its new and existing contracts and also needs to bring excellent existing supply chain connections to the company to help them meet all the needs of their clients.

Duties

• Work directly with the clients to make sure that all the work is successfully completed on time.
• Develop and encourage project team performance encouraging and ensuring that main contractual obligations and or strategies are executed and regularly reviewed.
• Demonstrate understanding of internal and external tender strategies / build up and work to the profit plan.
• Agree external valuations / cash flow to maximise project value.
• Produce main and subcontract final accounts.

Requirements

• A Commercial Manager who has experience working for a UK Main Contractor.
• Social Housing experience
• Someone has the ambitions to grow the company.
• Someone who is willing to put the hours in.
• Someone who already has excellent supply chain connections.
• Experience in Managing a team of Surveyors
