My client is offering an exciting opportunity to join their friendly team as a full time Contracts Manager / Senior Site Manager!
This position is responsible for inspecting properties and addressing any Restoration/ Building work issues that may arise for our domestic and commercial customers, which is a vital role in the company.
As the Manager of the team, you will help manage and run each project. Working with a full team of professional tradesmen/ women you will ensure that each trade is fully equipped and instructed to carry out the tasks set by our surveyors.
Additionally, you will be responsible for locating, diagnosing, and providing repairs for any restoration/ building problems you may find. Unlike their competition, they have a damp and drainage team that are able to support you when diagnosing any exterior defects that are affecting the property.

About the Client
My client is a well-established and dynamic company that specialises in Restoration, Roofing, Drainage and Damp. They are a family run business operating in South West London, and they have a reputation for providing exceptional services to their customers.
Objectives of this Position
* You will project manage several sites that they run in-house.
* You will be leading a team of trades people on site and ensure they perform their set tasks.
* You will ensure their clients are kept up to date with progress.
* You will be attending to both commercial and domestic properties throughout the capital to identify the type of Restoration/ Building works needed.
* You will carry out regular evaluations and project progress reports on all sites.
* Provide technical support to customers and staff within the business.
* Provide recommendations for remedial works within a report using their up-to- date CRM system.
* Create short videos for their engineers when needed.
* Support the engineers in order for them to carry out their works to the highest standards.
* Ensure all aspects of Health & Safety standards are adhered to on all sites.
* Ability to drive throughout London in order to produce on site restoration investigations.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
* A minimum of Five years of relevant industry experience.
* A technical qualification in building surveying or similar discipline.
* Extensive experience on residential properties.
* Excellent defect diagnosis experience and all-round building pathology/construction knowledge.
* Knowledge regarding the relevant legal requirements (such as Party Wall legislation and Construction, Design and Management Regulations).
* Experience in restoration projects.
* Possess strong Health and Safety understanding, including knowledge of property related regulations and laws.
* Asbestos awareness certificate and working in confined spaces (this can be arranged in house for the right candidate).
* Measuring tools and PPE will be provided.
* Enthusiasm to expand your knowledge of restoration while also learning our methodology of surveying.

* Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
* Highly motivated and able to work on their own as well as part of a team.
* A can-do attitude and a willingness to "muck in" and carry out a variety of tasks as necessitated by the operation.
