Evesham/Gloucester, with travel to or work at our other offices, services, schemes, projects, housing or development locations as dictated by the role.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Development Manager to lead on delivering innovative housing solutions on a 12-month fixed term basis. In this role, you will drive projects from inception to completion, contributing to strategic goals and ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices. Key responsibilities include managing land acquisitions, preparing feasibility reports, overseeing project budgets, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. You will champion our development initiatives, utilising cutting-edge project management techniques and ensuring successful handovers of units to housing management that make a difference in our communities.

About you

The ideal candidate for this role will be a professional with substantial and relevant experience relating to housing development. You will need to possess exceptional organisational and project management skills, coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong communication and negotiation abilities are essential, as is experience working with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Passionate about the sector, you bring innovative thinking, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high quality projects on time and within budget.
