ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our client in Evesham. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the highest standards of product quality throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves assisting the lead engineer on all quality control matters, conducting inspections, and collaborating with various departments to maintain and improve product quality.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
路 Support Senior Quality Engineer and quality team
路 Conduct audits and quality inspections, analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
路 Updating and maintaining NCR Log
路 Collaborate and build strong intercompany relationships with design, manufacturing, quality and production teams in the UK, USA, China and India to integrate quality standards into all stages of product development.
路 Identify and address quality issues and defects, providing technical support and facilitating corrective actions.
路 Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including EN/ISO standards.
路 Promote quality awareness and compliance within the organization.
路 Continuously monitor and improve quality assurance processes to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
路 Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
路 Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
路 Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software.
路 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
路 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
路 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
路 Understanding of Lean Six Sigma or similar quality management systems is a plus.
路 Use of SAGE 200 would be an advantage
