Maintenance Engineer - DaysLocation: Evesham (On-Site)Temp to PermCompetitive Salary
An exciting opportunity to join our industry-leading client in the FMCG sector, known for producing and distributing top-quality products nationwide. As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of the team, covering all aspects of mechanical equipment maintenance within a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery within a fast-paced production setting.
- Conduct preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks, prioritizing breakdowns and ensuring minimal disruption to production.
- Operate a variety of workshop tools and equipment, including welding and fabrication tools.
- Resolve equipment faults with limited spares, working independently to meet tight production deadlines.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to continuously improve the reliability and maintenance of the site.
Requirements:
- Engineering experience within a manufacturing or equipment manufacturing environment, with experience in food production being a bonus.
- Strong mechanical skills, with the ability to fabricate, weld, and operate workshop equipment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain strong attention to detail, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Solid experience in mechanical fault finding and maintenance, particularly with food processing machinery, pneumatics, refrigeration, steam boilers, and production lines.
- PPM system experience (e.g., Shires, Access Control) is desirable.

- Possess both electrical and mechanical skills, with a bias toward mechanical expertise.
- Experienced with various machinery and systems in a manufacturing environment.
