Highly successful manufacturer has created a new Parts Person ( Warehouse Operative ) role due to a significant increase in business. Working as part of a friendly team, you will be responsible for processing Customer parts orders from receipt, packing and finally, dispatch. You will also be required to pick kit lists for assembly teams to work upon.
Location: Evesham - easily commutable from Worcester , Tewkesbury , Alcester , Chipping Campden
Monday to Friday , no shifts
Parts Person ( Warehouse Operative ) responsibilities :
• Ensuring customer orders are picked, packaged and dispatched within the delivery timeframe required.
• Accurately picking kit lists of mechanical parts.
• Informing the Warehouse Manager if parts are not available.
• Checking and putting away supplier deliveries into correct bin locations, flagging up any shortages or damaged stock.
• Assisting with periodic stock checks.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Skills required for the Parts Person ( Warehouse Operative ) role:
• Have experience of parts dispatch within an engineering, automotive, manufacturing or similar environment.
• Be able to identify basic parts based upon descriptions on paperwork (for instance if the order is "one pack of 25mm washers", does the pack in the bin location look like that?
• Be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and have basic computer literacy.
• Be a good communicator and be committed to delivering excellent customer service.
