Circa £50,000 (Flexible DOE) + Performance Related Bonus + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Contributory Pension (6%) + Training and Progression
Monday to Friday 8:15am to 5pm, Friday 8:15am to 1pm
Manufacturing Project Manager required for an industry leading manufacturer who are currently experiencing significant year on year sales growth. This is a great opportunity to play an integral role within a business witnessing over 30% growth each year. The company have further exciting plans to improve and increase manufacturing in which the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting.
The successful candidate will need to have experience within engineering / manufacturing and will need to hold experience of implementing and utilising MRP systems (such as Syspro). You will also need a sound knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
The successful candidate will play a lead role in overseeing and managing internal manufacturing projects. This will involve the implementation of the company’s MRP system Syspro, as well as reviewing manufacturing layouts, supply chain and general continuous improvement activities. This will involve close communication with internal teams, including engineering and design.

The Manufacturing Project Manager Role:
· Manage manufacturing and manufacturing support projects
· MRP implementation
· Continuous improvement – minimising operational costs whilst maximising customer service
· Lead cross-functional teams to support specific projects
· Budgetary responsibility
· Development of manufacturing layout
The Manufacturing Project Manager Candidate:
· Experience within manufacturing / engineering
· Continuous improvement experience
· Experience working with MRP systems
· Commercial knowledge
· Experience working with ISO9001
