Business Support Officer - Hybrid - DBS and BPSS Check Required
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join their team. This vital role involves ensuring accurate billing processes and efficient revenue collection while maintaining a high standard of database accuracy. You will manage information from various sources to process bills and ensure the correct application of exemptions and reductions where applicable.
The role includes assisting customers with enquiries via phone, email, or in person, delivering excellent service, and providing guidance on payment options and available financial support. You will promote direct debit as a preferred payment method and support individuals facing financial hardship by signposting them to appropriate assistance programs and advice services.
You will also be involved in all aspects of the billing and recovery process, including maintaining accurate records for vacant properties by making proactive enquiries with estate agents, solicitors, and property owners. When required, you'll arrange inspections and work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to optimize revenue generation.
Candidates must have proficiency in using Northgate NEC systems, as this is essential to perform the role effectively.
