We have a new permanent opportunity for a Head of Sales to join a fantastic Estate Agency based in their beautiful City Centre office in Exeter, that will take the lead on all sales and New Homes Business.You will be part of the senior management team and report to MD. You will be responsible for the day to day running of sales offices on multiple sites and oversee recruiting and managing the sales team with overall charge of sales progression, including co-ordination between outsourced legal team, build, and customer service. We are looking for someone with a like-minded vision to continue to develop and deliver an excellent "customer journey".What we’re looking forYou will be responsible for achieving sales targets and driving the sales negotiators to achieve reservations, exchanges, and completions in line with such targets. Weekly meetings will be held to support the sales and support team.Attention should be given to all sales areas, ensuring a presentable and professional environment for customers and staff including offices, show homes and stock plots. You will be involved in the setup of new developments and sales areas, with occasionally weekend support on a rota.Regular weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting is required in line with company procedures. You will be in attendance with management meetings.You’ll also be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience of running new homes sales operations and team management.
  • Proven performance in a target driven environment.
  • An excellent understanding and experience of selling off plan.
  • Experience of new homes development, product development and financial appraisals.
  • Experience of managing sales negotiators.
  • Experience of designing and implementing off plan sales strategies to de-risk sales programmes.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to a changing workload and priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM products.
  • Excellent knowledge of the legal requirements for buying, selling, and leasing properties.

In return our client is offering an excellent package with basic salary in the region of £35-45,000 and on target earnings around the £60,000 mark.
