A popular, busy pub, at the Blue Ball our menu includes generously portioned pub classics alongside an innovative seasonal menu. We cook everything from scratch working closely with our local suppliers wherever we can.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
  • Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Assist with meal preparation and presentation, ensuring that all dishes are cooked to perfection
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Skills and Previous experience

  • 2 years working in a restaurant or kitchen environment
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
