My client is a Regional based IFA firm and have an opportunity in either their Bath or Exeter office which offer hybrid working and after probation 2 days in the office only.

My client is a growing and successful specialist Wealth management firm who have been making many acquisitions over the past year who seek to add to their Paraplanning functions.

Salary depends on experience and qualifications and level of experience you have, £30 - 40,000 is on offer plus 10% bonus potential, plus competitive benefits and the opportunity to work in a thriving environment where your talent and skills will be developed and there are opportunities for future progression.

Duties include.

  • Provide support to financial advisers and their clients by compiling research, writing suitability reports and answering
  • technical queries.
  • To have a thorough understanding of the administration process, client file requirements and FCA requirements.
  • Preparing and maintaining compliant client files.
  • Provision of high quality, accurate report writing for all areas of financial planning including pension transfers, trusts and IHT planning
  • Prepare postal review and ad hoc letters for advisers.
  • Discuss the client’s needs and objectives with the relevant adviser.
  • Undertake research to identify suitable solutions to meet the client’s needs and objectives.
  • Undertake pension, income drawdown and investment reviews.
  • Prepare post meeting review letters confirming the details of the review meeting.
  • Input and manage cashflow forecasting for clients.
  • Provide technical support to complex client queries.
  • Preparing investment material, quotes and illustrations for client meetings and suitability reports.
  • Completing technical calculations including but not limited to Capital Gain Tax, bond surrenders/withdrawals, annual allowance, lifetime allowance and pension carry forward.
  • Produce easily understandable recommendations to clients across the Group.
  • Ensure turnaround times and deadlines are appropriately managed
