Are you an experienced Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager, or Senior Nurse with a passion for providing outstanding care to elderly and dementia residents? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager to join a fantastic care home in the East Devon area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up into a managerial role or further develop their clinical leadership within a supportive and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day clinical and operational management of the nursing home.
  • Lead and motivate a dedicated team of nursing and care staff.
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to residents, ensuring all their needs are met with compassion and respect.
  • Promote a positive and safe environment for both staff and residents.
  • Oversee care plans, medication management, and health assessments for all residents.
  • Ensure the nursing home meets all regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Play a key role in staff development, training, and performance management.


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience within an elderly/dementia nursing home is preferable.
  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC pin.
  • Experience in a Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager, or Senior Nurse role would be advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality care to elderly residents, particularly those with dementia.
  • A compassionate, patient, and professional approach to care delivery.
