Our esteemed client, a well-established manufacturing organisation, is presently seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As Finance Manager, you will lead the finance function, maintaining precise records, ensuring compliance, and providing accurate financial insights through monthly management accounts. You will be a commercially minded individual with the ability to identify and implement positive change operationally.

The responsibilities:

Oversee daily financial operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies.
Prepare management accounts, cash flow summaries, and ensure statutory compliance (PAYE, NI, P11D).
Collaborate with senior management on annual budgets and monitor cash flow trends.
Manage corporate governance, statutory records, and liaise with regulatory authorities.
Oversee payroll, benefit schemes, and ensure timely tax payments to HMRC.
Coordinate energy procurement, insurance coverage, and tax reporting with teams.
Develop systems to improve operational efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
Supervise scheduling, training, reviews, and foster a culture of accountability.
Advise senior management on financial constraints, legislation changes, and strategy.

The candidate:

Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 3+ years in senior finance roles.
Expertise in UK financial regulations, tax laws, accounting standards, and pension schemes.
Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.
Proven leadership in financial planning, cost control, and team management.
Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial data clearly.
