We are currently partnering with a local Charity to recruit a Finance Manager on a full-time, temporary basis.

The responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the Finance team, supervising Finance Officers and guiding Finance Assistants.
  • Maintain financial systems integrity and data accuracy across the organisation.
  • Produce and analyse management accounts, including quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Uphold compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate on strategic planning, creating annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
  • Coordinate annual audits, prepare statutory accounts, and liaise with external auditors.
  • Oversee cash flow management, investments, and fund allocation.
  • Advise and support budget holders to ensure effective financial management.

The candidate:

  • Proven track record in financial management with comprehensive understanding of complex financial operations. Charity experience preferred.
  • Chartered Accountant qualification (ACCA/CIMA preferred), with alternative candidates of equivalent professional experience considered.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in financial software, integrated accounting systems, and expert-level data analysis capabilities.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding communication abilities to translate complex financial insights across organisational levels.
