We are currently partnering with a local Charity to recruit a Finance Manager on a full-time, temporary basis.

The responsibilities:

Direct and manage the Finance team, supervising Finance Officers and guiding Finance Assistants.
Maintain financial systems integrity and data accuracy across the organisation.
Produce and analyse management accounts, including quarterly and annual financial reports.
Uphold compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and contractual obligations.
Collaborate on strategic planning, creating annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
Coordinate annual audits, prepare statutory accounts, and liaise with external auditors.
Oversee cash flow management, investments, and fund allocation.
Advise and support budget holders to ensure effective financial management.

The candidate:

Proven track record in financial management with comprehensive understanding of complex financial operations. Charity experience preferred.
Chartered Accountant qualification (ACCA/CIMA preferred), with alternative candidates of equivalent professional experience considered.
Advanced technical proficiency in financial software, integrated accounting systems, and expert-level data analysis capabilities.
Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding communication abilities to translate complex financial insights across organisational levels.
