Group Finance Manager

This commercial business are high growth and have grown their £t/o and headcount rapidly, since launching a little over a decade ago.Your new roleAs the Group Finance Manager, your new role will take ownership of the day to day management of the finance function, which includes :

• Month End Accounting, ensuring accurate reporting and processing of financial transactions as well as oversight of the finance operations and financial accountants team.
• Review and sign off on inter-company accounts reconciliations during the month-end close.
• Review and improve accounting practices and processes to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Implement and maintain high-quality financial controls and reporting systems, focusing on continuous improvement. Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, company procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Management Reporting / Management Accounting to include profit and loss, balance sheet, consolidated monthly management accounts, cash flow, and budgets. Providing variance analysis and commentary.
• Financial Planning & Analysis

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified in accounting (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or other recognised accounting qualification).
• Knowledge of financial / statutory accounting and management principles, procedures and practices.
• Strong commercial skills with an analytical mindset.
• Experience of mentoring staff members is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and communication / business partnering skills
• Agile mindset and adaptability to grow within the role
