- Year-End Support initially: Assist the current Finance Manager through the early stages of the year-end processes until mid-April.
- Interim Finance Manager for Children's Services: Take over the role from mid-April until the end of June, ensuring a smooth transition and handover to the new post holder.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and audits specific to children's services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure financial compliance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Must be a qualified finance professional (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
- Experience: Proven experience in local government finance is essential.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
