Private Client Tax Manager

Crowe Watson Recruitment is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join our client, a distinguished firm of Chartered Accountants in Exeter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a varied portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates

• Provide expert tax planning and advisory services tailored to client needs

• Review and oversee the preparation of self-assessment tax returns and other tax compliance work

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering proactive advice

• Support junior team members through mentoring and technical guidance

• Drive business development initiatives to attract new clients and expand service offerings

Skills & Experience:

• CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified

• At least 5 years' experience working within a UK Practice environment

• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax and trust taxation

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships effectively

• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
