My client is looking for a Consultation and Engagement officer which is being offered on a full-time basis in Exeter. This role is being offered as a Fixed term contract or a temporary assignment, whichever is most suitable to the candidate.
Main Purpose of Job:
The Consultation and Engagement Officer enhances engagement with communities and staff in Devon and Somerset. This role supports strategic consultations and engagement initiatives that inform decision-making and contribute to regional safety. Additionally, the officer assists in managing and resolving complaints.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Consultation: - Develop and deliver various consultation methodologies, analyze results, and generate reports. - Test and evaluate innovative consultation and engagement methods. - Organize and execute consultation and engagement activities aligned with strategic objectives.
Engagement: - Support internal and external engagement activities in collaboration with the Consultation and Engagement Lead. - Facilitate community, staff, and partner engagement with organizational plans and directions. - Ensure inclusive participation in activities, accommodating diverse needs.
Compliments and Complaints: - Manage and resolve complaints according to policy. - Collect feedback on services from stakeholders. - Handle and report on compliments and complaints.
General: - Support the communications team with audience insight and engagement activities. - Assist in research and report delivery. - Develop and maintain relationships across departments and with partners. - Stay updated with professional developments and ensure compliance with GDPR and organizational policies. - Promote the organization’s Core Values and Code of Ethics, ensuring compliance with Equality and Diversity.
