P4 Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Rough Sleeper Prevention Team Leader to join a dynamic team in Exeter. This is a key role where you will lead a team of outreach workers and work closely with local agencies to provide support to rough sleepers in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach visits to rough sleepers and hotspot areas across the local region.
- Provide supportive line management to team members, offering guidance and supervision.
- Collaborate with multi-agency partners to maximise opportunities and deliver positive outcomes for clients.
- Participate in an outreach rota, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to ensure the best support for rough sleepers.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle for business purposes.
- Experience working with vulnerable adults or people with complex needs and challenging behaviors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with partner agencies.
- A compassionate, person-centred approach to working with individuals experiencing homelessness.
