Job Title: Senior Delivery Manager
Location: Devon (Hybrid, onsite a couple of times per month)
Rate: £650 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: Contract until July 2025 (with strong potential for extension)
About the Role
Salt Recruitment is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to join an exciting project with a Central Government client. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead Agile and Lean delivery practices, ensuring optimal delivery flow and removing impediments for a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Agile and Lean methodologies to optimize team delivery.
- Actively address delivery risks and remove impediments to ensure seamless project progress.
- Lead continual planning processes and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
- Foster strong team dynamics and address any issues that arise.
- Oversee financial and commercial management related to delivery activities.
Essential Requirements:
- Active SC Clearance: Candidates must have an active SC clearance to be considered. This is non-negotiable.
- Civil Service Expertise: A strong background in the Civil Service is essential for success in this role.
- Proven experience in Agile delivery management within government or similarly complex environments.
- Strong stakeholder communication and risk management capabilities.
- Ability to lead, plan, and optimize team workflows.
Additional Details:
This role requires occasional onsite presence in Devon, typically a couple of times per month. The contract runs until July 2025 but is likely to extend beyond this timeframe.
