About the role:

As an IT Support Engineer at Sparx, you will be at the heart of our technical support, ensuring our talented teams receive the highest level of service and support. Your role will involve managing and resolving IT issues, deploying and maintaining a variety of Apple devices, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our IT systems. Reporting to the Senior IT Manager, your mission will be to ensure seamless device performance, promptly address IT requests, and collaborate with third-party suppliers to resolve issues from start to finish

Key Responsibilities

Customer-Focused Support: Provide exceptional IT support to both local and remote users, swiftly addressing and resolving technical issues and responding to help desk tickets in line with department SLA’s.

Innovative Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues, leveraging your technical expertise and innovative thinking to find effective solutions.

Device Management: Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and operational support of various devices, ensuring they are configured and updated to meet user needs. Oversee JAMF Pro for device management, including enrolling devices, configuring profiles, deploying software, and managing updates and patches.

Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with team members and third-party vendors to manage IT requests from start to finish, ensuring seamless coordination and communication. Delivering ongoing support to our amazing teams, addressing individual needs and concerns to optimise their use of our technology.

Continuous Improvement: Assist in the implementation of new systems and services, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our IT infrastructure.

Documentation and Security: Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT procedures and follow security best practices to protect our data and systems.
