Our client are leading electromechanical service providers, due to expansion they are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter and Winder to join their busy team!

Mechanical Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:

• Complete winding tasks to locate, repair or replace damaged coils or completely rewind all the wire coils used in electrical components
• Be responsible for the repair of electrical motors, pumps and gearboxes
• Work with both high and low voltage rewinds to refurbish them
• Bring their electromechanical knowledge to their workshop, specifically to rewind AC and DC motors, stators, armatures and transformers
• Complete and pass on all workshop documentation to the line manager
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures, complete daily tasks such as timesheets
• Be available for call out shift or overtime as required

The ideal Mechanical Fitter will:

• Have proven experience with electrical motors, pumps, gearboxes and generators, specifically to rewind AC and DC motors, stators, armatures and transformer
• Be able to complete workshop documentation using a computer
• Be flexible to work outside of standard working hours
• Knowledge and willingness to uphold health and safety protocols including PPE

Workshop Engineer Working Hours + Benefits:

• Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:00
