Description
The PM Transport Shift Manager will be responsible for;
- Lead, motivate and develop a high performing team who offer a White Glove home delivery service.
- Ensure efficient and effective operational processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage performance and productivity metrics
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
Profile
A successful PM Transport Shift Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the Transport, retail or Home Delivery sector
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage, lead, and motivate a team
- Capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using management information systems
- Commutable daily to Exeter
- Shifts will be Monday to Friday 2pm -10pm or Tuesday - Saturday 2pm -10pm
