Site Manager

I am seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the external works on three existing student accommodation blocks in Exeter. This project requires a highly competent professional to ensure the seamless coordination and management of sub-contractors, adherence to timelines, and delivery of high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all site activities related to the rendering and cladding works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Supervise and coordinate sub-contractors, ensuring their performance aligns with project schedules and quality expectations.
• Maintain a safe and secure site, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications.
• Provide clear communication and updates to project stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
• Resolve any site issues or delays promptly and effectively to keep the project on track.
• Manage and report on project budgets and timelines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar rendering and cladding projects, preferably within the student accommodation or residential sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and regulations related to rendering and cladding, as well as use of different systems and materials.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• SMSTS certification and a valid CSCS card are essential.
• First Aid at Work certification is desirable.
