Working Hours:

  • Flexible schedule, working 8 hours per day between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Salary

  • Salary: £30,940 - £35,360 (depending on experience)
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x the standard rate

Job Overview:

This role offers a 50/50 split between workshop and field work across Devon and Somerset. You will be provided with a fully equipped van for daily travel to and from work, with occasional assignments at other depots.

Working within a small team, your responsibilities will include servicing and repairing heavy construction plant machinery, diagnosing faults, and performing inspections on equipment when it arrives and leaves the workshop. You'll utilize a variety of hand and power tools to carry out your tasks.

Requirements:

  • Experience in heavy plant engineering (mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical)
  • Full UK driving licence
