The Role:

As a Property Procurement Officer, you will play a crucial role in the organisation by sourcing and managing a portfolio of properties that meet their stringent requirements. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with local authorities, landlords, and other key stakeholders, ensuring that all properties comply with relevant legislation and company standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing and Managing Properties: Identify and secure properties through accommodation partners, ensuring they meet our agreed standards and contract requirements.
  • Building Relationships: Develop and maintain effective partnerships with local authority senior Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) and regional stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all properties are compliant with local and national regulations, promoting a culture of health, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on performance targets and KPIs, ensuring our contracts are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Administration and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records in line with company procedures, ensuring smooth handovers and sign-offs of properties.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with your line manager and team members, providing support and training as needed to optimise service delivery.

You are a proactive and organised individual with a strong background in property management, procurement, or a related field. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering excellence in everything you do. Your ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple tasks effectively will be key to your success in this role.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in property procurement, management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of UK property legislation and compliance requirements.
