TeacherActive are delighted to be looking for an experienced Maths Teacher to join our inclusive and supportive community of educators for a variety of mainstream secondary schools in the Exeter area. You will need to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, and know when and how to differentiate  appropriately, enabling all pupils to be taught effectively.
TeacherActive are delighted to be working with a supportive secondary school in the beautiful East Devon area, looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join them from February half term on a long time, full term basis for the rest of the academic year. You will need to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, and know when and how to differentiate appropriately, enabling all pupils to be taught effectively.
The successful Maths Teacher will need to:
- Hold QTS / Qualified Teacher Status, with a Maths specialism and a minimum of 6 months experience within a UK classroom setting (ECT / Early Career Teachers are also encouraged to apply)
- Have experience teaching Maths across KS3 / Key Stage 3 and KS4 / Key Stage 4 (experience up to KS5 / Key Stage 5 desirable)
- Demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour which are expected of pupils
- Manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to pupils’ needs
- Make use of formative and summative assessments to secure pupils’ progress
