Educated Recruitment are a supply teacher employment business in it's 10th year of establishment actively recruiting Secondary School Teachers (ECTs or experienced), to join our friendly, supportive and busy agency for ad hoc supply teaching opportunities in the Exeter area.

Please note: Our standard daily pay rate as a supply teacher recruitment business is £85 for teaching assistants and £95 for SEN teaching assistants. For longer term placements with additional responsibilities, daily pay rate for a teaching assistant could be negotiated up to £100, at the discretion of school budgets.

Supply Teacher Responsibilities

- Delivering cover lessons

- Preparing planning

- Following safeguarding and school policies

- Marking work as needed

- Liaising with school staff

Supply Teacher Essentials

- QTS or ECT status (applications from other teaching backgrounds also welcome)

- A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)

- A 3 year minimum reference history

- Up to date knowledge of the curriculum

- Reliability

- Excellent communication skills
