Multi Skilled Engineer required for a market leading service provider of commercial laundry equipment in the care home sector. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company who truly value and celebrate their team whilst offering job security.
The successful field service engineer will have experience of working on laundry equipment. You will ideally be gas qualified, however, for the successful candidate this is something the company can provide.
The successful field service engineer will provide reactive and routine maintenance to both industrial and commercial laundry equipment for breakdowns at customer sites working to a target upwards of 80% first time fix. This will involve dead testing and carrying out isolation. You will work from home and will be required to be on call out stand by one in four weekends.
The Multi Skilled Engineer Role:
· Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance
· Field based working at customer sites – typically 1 hour to 1.5 hours radius between jobs
· Working on commercial laundry equipment in care homes, hotels, charities, gyms etc.
· 3 to 4 jobs average per day
· 1 in 4 weekends callout standby
The Multi Skilled Engineer Candidate:
· Experience of working on laundry equipment
· Work quickly to rectify breakdowns and work effectively to PPM schedules.
