Sustainability Manager

Alecto Recruitment are looking for an experienced Sustainability Manager to ensure the business, that specialises in the Anaerobic Digestion sector is OFGEM and ISCC Compliant.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all RHI, FiT, and ISCC accreditations and certifications.
  • Ensure all Ofgem and ISCC reports are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate submission of quarterly and monthly RHI and FiT reports.
  • Raise REGOs and RGGOs, ensuring all associated reports are accurate, timely, and delivered to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Report RHI and FiT-related revenue streams to the Accounts team and flag any potential delays.
  • Notify Ofgem promptly of any system changes, following up to ensure account accuracy and maintain accreditation compliance.
  • Collaborate with site managers to stay informed of any heat and power circuit changes that may require Ofgem's attention.
  • Provide guidance to sites to ensure full compliance with RHI, FiT, and ISCC regulations.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all feedstocks used meet Ofgem compliance standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all Ofgem and ISCC external audits, fully engaging with auditors to achieve successful audit outcomes.
  • Maintain sites in an audit-ready state at all times.
  • Conduct supplier audits to verify ISCC, RHI, and FiT compliance.
  • Liaise with Energy Management for the sale of RGGO/REGOs.
  • Collaborate with the Energy Management Portfolio Manager to ensure accurate hedging volumes in line with the hedging policy.

Qualifications/ experience:

  • 5 years' experience in working with regulatory bodies
  • Experience of Energy trading and derivates desirable
  • Hands on approach
  • Full clean driving license
  • Team Player
  • Strong negotiations experience.
