We are currently recruiting for a Gas Engineer to join a leading social housing provider based in Exmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on domestic properties in a permanent, full-time capacity, working 40 hours per week. In return, you will receive a competitive salary with a company van, petrol card, and an excellent benefits package.

This role is a temp- perm role meaning the first 12 weeks will be temporary paid at 29-30 an hour including van and fuel card, after this point it will be permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the servicing, repairing & maintenance of Domestic heating systems
  • Complete works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations
  • Completion of all relevant paperwork
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and safety
  • Participate in out of hour's works, including overtime and call out
  • Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and H&S procedures
  • Reporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards
  • Undertake all other maintenance works within remit
  • Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent formal training in the relevant craft qualification.
  • ACS qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
  • Full driving license.
  • Strong understanding of gas legislation, health & safety, and industry best practices.
