Inspire Young Minds as a SEN Teaching Assistant!Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our excellent Primary School in Exmouth. If you're passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:· Support pupils with challenging behaviour and SEN, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.· Manage challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive, and consistent manner.· Build positive relationships with Class Teachers to discuss and implement effective strategies and learning activities.· Prepare resources for lessons to enhance learning experiences.· Supervise pupils during break and lunchtime as required.· Engage actively with pupils, forming positive rapport and encouraging their learning.

Key Requirements:· Enhanced DBS check (ideally on the Update Service; we can process a new one if necessary).· A recognised Childcare-based qualification is preferred, but not essential.· Strong ability to build relationships and rapport with pupils and staff.· Resilient, proactive, and positive nature to handle challenges effectively.· Experience in classroom support is beneficial, though not essential.· High levels of enthusiasm, energy, and positivity when working with pupils.· A genuine passion for helping young people fulfil their potential and flourish in their education.
