I am on the search for an Health and Safety Coordinator to join a fast pace Food manufacturing site based in Derbyshire.
Reporting into the group Health and safety manager, you will be ultimately responsible for ensuring the safety of all colleagues on site. Providing them with the right structure and tools for them to creatures a culture where safety comes first!
A massive part of this role will be your ability to engage with the team, so it's imperative that you are a people person and have the ability to win the hearts and minds of the team.
To highlight a few Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the implementation, monitoring, and reviewing of Health & Safety strategies, procedures, risk assessments, site safety plan, and safe working practices in line with the Global Safety Framework
  • To action any safety concerns raised.
  • To assist in the identification of any training needs for employees and assist with the delivery of training as required.
  • To support and carrying out / review of risk assessments
  • To support managers with investigations and facilitate necessary steps to prevent reoccurrences
  • Reduce accidents in line with business and group objectives and KPIs
